EcoCart utilizes a global network of reputable suppliers to sequester, reduce, and offset carbon emissions.
With a rigorous verification process, we scour the globe for projects that are legitimately reducing carbon pollution.
We confirm the science and financials, making sure each project meets the toughest requirements of the world’s major carbon standards — including the United Nations.
EcoCart projects don’t just slow climate change, but also have a positive impact on local communities and animal habitats.
By working closely with project developers, we ensure that each program is stable, sound, and capable of doing good for both people and the planet.
We can’t depend on the promise to do good. We need to see it in action.
By carefully tracking the emissions reductions of each project and sharing that information with our customers, we give the EcoCart community greater certainty that what they see is what they get.
EcoCart generates a carbon impact report for all of your customers’ carbon neutral orders which can be viewed in real time.
Shoppers can view the carbon impact of their order and details of the specific offset project used. EcoCart goes a step further and packages all these insights and transparent reporting all within the EcoCart Dashboard.
The projects we work with are carefully vetted and scientifically verified according to the world’s major carbon offsetting standards.
With over 90% of each dollar going directly to projects that are proven to reduce or counteract the amount of greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere.
When you fund a carbon offsetting project, you fund projects that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the atmosphere(such as protecting forests or building wind farms). Carbon offsets enable you to counteract the carbon emissions your company is producing that can’t easily be reduced or eliminated.
But not all carbon offset projects are created equal. EcoCart’s carbon offsetting projects offer lab and field testing with third-party verification and site visits to ensure accurate calculations of the amount of greenhouse gas emissions being offset, which enables the projects to periodically issue offset credits. These credits are measured in metric tons (tonnes) of carbon dioxide equivalents (mtCO₂e). EcoCart then evaluates the implementation of the methodology and confirms that the project uses the majority of the proceeds for project growth and not profit.
Our network of carbon offsetting projects enables you to select the project most relevant to your brand and audience based on activity, location, and more.
